Often, tourists who travel to Ireland on vacation expect to drink Guinness beer and maybe some Irish whiskey. And they should. Ireland, the land of Celtic myth and lore, is also the land of Guinness stout and Irish whiskey. When two of the top attractions in Dublin are the Guinness Brewery at St. James Gate and the Jameson experience, that’s a clear sign that enjoying each of is part of a well-rounded Ireland vacation experience.
But, if you are a person who enjoys a pint or two of beer, don’t stop at the Guinness and make sure you try out a local craft beer as well. With interesting names and layers of flavor, Ireland’s growing craft beer scene is definitely worth checking out next time you’re in Ireland.
